FULGURITES
Fulgurites are not in anyway related to Meteorites.
Except that they are often found in the Libyan Desert, in south-west Egypt, just like the
Libyan Desert Glass.
They are made by lightning striking the sand, and melting the sand along its path.
Something like solidified, vitrified lightning!
