Description:

A bright fireball flew over the small town of Santa Vitoria do Palmar in extreme south Brazil on June 25, 1997, however the meteorite was not found until March 2003, so it has been classified as a Find, rather than a Fall. The local museum kept a large piece for their collection, and a fragment was sent to the Humbolt University in Berlin, Germany, where it was thoroughly studied and analyzed. 
It is an Ordinary Chondrite, L3, with a wide range of chondrules grouped in clusters.

This is the end-piece, the largest piece presently on the open market.
