Description:

A shower of stones fell on a large area of Norton County, Kansas, in the afternoon of February 18, 1948.   Over a hundred stones were later recovered. The main mass is now in the Museum of the University of New-Mexico, in Albuquerque, New-Mexico.

Classified as a rare Aubrite.

Excellent fragment showing well the crystalline texture of this meteorite.
