Hundreds of fragments of that pallasite have been found in the desert of the Atacama.

Most of them are very weathered, reduced to skeleton of metal with very few if any remnants of the olivine crystals. And this one is no exception, it is very weathered too, only a faint glitter here and there, but it is still trying to tell us that it is special. It is oriented, and there are still some flow lines and a bit of a lip to prove it. It is not very obvious, this meteorite has gone through thousands of years of sand blasting, but it is still there, making it a very special Imilac..

About 6.6 cm long, and 5.3 cm wide,
